Crime! or Culture?

“Crime! or Culture?” was created as a campaign to advocate for the rights of Muslim women—urging viewers to confront a difficult question: Why is domestic abuse justified in the name of culture?

The “Give Voice to the Voiceless” posters were designed to promote the Clarion Project’s documentary film Honor Diaries, which was featured at the Censored Women’s Film Festival.

Visually, the posters reflect the stark contrast between cultural perceptions and the harsh reality of domestic abuse, exposing the cultural silence which should be accounted for criminal accountability.”

The Clarion Project is a non-profit organization that amplifies the voices of Muslim human rights activists while challenging and exposing the dangers of Islamist extremism.
